Follow the below steps for application to secure your spot at AICM and maximise your career in music.

Please note the below procedures are for local students only. If you are an overseas student please select from the left menu.

Step 1
Submit an application form for entry into AICM. Application forms can be downloaded from the menu to the left of this page - please print, complete, and send back to AICM.

If you are applying for a scholarship, a one-off $55 AU scholarship fee is required.

Step 2
For entry into AICM you will then be required to sit an audition and interview with the audition panel. The audition should include 2-3 performances of contrasting styles that also represent your best attributes.

You can also bring your own backing CD for the performances, or we can organize an accompanist for you if required (prior notice required).

Step 3
If your audition is successful, an Offer of Enrolment will be sent to you via post along with an Enrolment Acceptance Form for you to respond.

Step 4
Once you have accepted your Offer of Enrolment, this secures your place at AICM! We will then send you an orientation pack and invoice for tuition fees (only i f you have decided not to use FEE-HELP). If the FEE-HELP option is chosen, you do not need to pay any fees to commence studies.
