Follow the below steps for application to secure your spot at AICM and maximise your career in music.

Step 1
Complete an Application Form (together with Refund Agreement) for entry into AICM. Application Forms can be downloaded from the menu to the left of this page - please print, complete, and send back to AICM. You will also need to submit the following items:

1) A certified audition tape (CD, DVD, VCD, cassette, video)
2) Proof of competence in English (IELTS 6.0 / 6.5 for Post graduate, or equivalent)
3) Overseas student audition fee ($AU250.00)
4) Application lodgement fee (AU$250.00)

If you are applying for a scholarship, a one-off $35 AU scholarship fee is required.

Step 2
Once your audition tape is passed and all admission requirements are met, an Offer of Enrolment will be issued to you.

Step 3
To accept the offer, an Acceptance slip will need to be completed and returned to AICM. Tuition fees must also be paid for one full year in advance. Payment details are as follows:

Step 4
On receipt of your Acceptance slip and proof of payment, AICM will electronically complete your Confirmation of Enrolment. At this stage, students may also apply for a place in 'Harris Place' student accommodation (separate application form and fee schedule available; fees to be paid in advance - $AU12,000 for 40 weeks per year).

Step 5
Apply for an Australian Student Visa at your Australian Embassy. You will need your Confirmation of Enrolment, passport and Offer of Enrolment letter.

Step 6
Inform AICM of your successful Visa application. At this stage you may apply for Overseas Health Cover - 12 months single (AU$342.00).
