In such a challenging industry, respectable qualifications, extensive field experience and a strong network of contacts is essential to improve your future career prospects in music. At AICM, we provide an environment with all the above tools for you to maximize opportunities and reach your ultimate goal.

The AICM provides a range of tertiary courses, masterclasses, professional development seminars and cultural events as well as weekly instrumental and vocal tuition of the highest quality. You can choose to study jazz, classical or contemporary performance on any instrument or voice. The conservatorium also offers courses in music theatre, accompaniment, conducting, composition, pedagogy and music theory.

Students are also encouraged to maximize their performance experience, frequenting some of Sydney’s premier venues and night spots, or even at our own Performance Hall on campus. Along with classes in performance, theory and music production, students also benefit greatly from access to concert halls, music facilities and digital recording technology.

Younger students can also enter AICM, anywhere from years 7 - 12, to complete their HSC through the Australian International Performing Arts High School (AIPAH). AIPAH graduates can then transition to our tertiary courses while studying on the same campus.

Please use the menu on the left to choose current tertiary courses on offer. Entry is based on the panel's assessment of your interview and audition, UAI scores and HSC music subjects are not required for successful entry into AICM.
