The AICM provides a range of leading tertiary courses, masterclasses, professional development seminars and performance events as well as weekly instrumental and vocal tuition of the highest quality. You can choose to study jazz, classical or contemporary performance on any instrument or voice. Our curriculum is based on years of research and development, offering students flexible study options in a wide variety of industry specific areas such as music performance, theatre, production, music industry, multimedia, production, composition, management, conducting, pedagogy/teaching, jazz improvisation, and music journalism.

All students enrolled at AICM are able to study a wide variety of genres on any instrument or voice, receiving individual one-to-one lessons each week as part of their regular programme Students are also encouraged to maximize their performance experience, frequenting some of Sydney's premier venues and night spots, or even at our own Performance Hall on campus. Along with classes in performance, theory and music production, students also benefit greatly from access to concert halls, ensemble studios, music facilities and digital recording technology.

AICM tertiary qualifications are fully accredited and recognized by the Australian Higher Education authority, Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
