Admission of International Students

International students applying to AICM must follow the standard admission procedure as listed on the Apply Now page. International students are expected to have a minimum English level of 6.0 IELTS or equivalent. If you need assistance with meeting this requirement, please contact our International Student Services office to enquire about English Preparation courses available to you.

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has authorised AICM to enrol international students on student visas for study in Australia. The Australian International Conservatorium of Music (AICM) Registered Provider Code is 01108B. An 80% attendance rate, as prescribed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, is a mandatory requirement that every international student needs to fullfil.

Accommodation

AICM does not provide on-campus housing, however, we do have a partnership agreement in place with a reputable provider of home-stay accommodation for international and local students. If you are interested in such services, please contact AICM directly for further information. Alternatively, there are many student lodging and general accommodation options available within close distance of AICM.
